With the release of Interxion’s 2009 results, we thought it might be interesting see how the two European headquartered operators might contrast and compare.  In fact it turned out to be quite hard to find any differences, though those that there are tell an interesting tale.

QuantHouse, who provide ultra low latency trading solutions have added Interxion London to their London data center coverage.  QuantHouse clients include The London Stock Exchange, Credit Suisse and Turquoise. 

Interxion have announced the draft filing of their F-1 form with the SEC, the first step in a possible US IPO of the company which Interxion say could take place in the second half of 2010.  The F-1 is a standard document used by foreign companies listing on the US markets.

Interxion have announced the systems integrator and IT services provider Bull has expanded its data centre footprint with Interxion Netherlands.  Bull’s clients include DetailResult Services.

Trade Haven GmbH, a company which provides trading platforms and systemsto banks, brokers, asset managers and traders has taken capacity at both Interxion Frankfurt and Dusseldorf.

Fibrespan, the specialist dark fibre and ultra-high bandwidth carrier has connected Interxion London to their network, so becoming the 32nd onsite carrier at Interxion London according to Interxion. Fibrespan clients include financial services, public sector, system integrators and multi-site users.

London’s second peering exchange LONAP has announced that Interxion London will become the fifth LONAP site, so adding to Telehouse North, Telehouse East, Telecity Sovereign House and Telecity HEX 8&9.
