Colo-X Description

There are a cluster of data centres to the North of the City, London's financial district.  Proximity to the financial institutions located nearby has meant such clients are a resonable proportion of customers in these facilities, the largest being Interxion on Hanbury Street, Level 3's Goswell Road site and Telecity's facility in Oliver's Yard, just off the City Road.

In Clifton Street and Paul Street, just north of Liverpool Street many carriers built their own switch sites during the dot-com boom and the roads in the area bore testamount to the many digs that took place.  Today, carrier neutral facilities such as City Lifeline and Telehouse Metro are here as well as the recently opened Iomart site on Epworth Street.
