Colo-X Description
Interxion are a pan-European operator of carrier neutral data centres, headquartered in Amsterdam. They began operations with their first facility located in Gyroscoopweg in Amsterdam in 1998, so are a very well established operator and can count as one of the "big three" pan-European providers, the other two being Equinix and Telecity.
As of Q1 2010 Interxion operate 26 facilities in 11 countries across Europe offering some 55,000 sq m of colocation space and claim to have 1100 customers across their footprint. The are active in the main Euopean markets being London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt and Paris but they also have facilities in many second tier locaions including Zurich, Madrid, Vienna, Copenhagen and Stockholm and in at least two or three of these locations they are very much the dominant (ie only) operator.
