- Former Redbus site
Colo-X Analysis
Facility Description
This is the former Redbus site in Amsterdam, now part of Telecity. It originally opened in 2002 and as a result was quite a late entrant to the Amsterdam market, but the location offered good carrier access given both Interxion’s first Amsterdam site is close by and Dutch regional carrier Versatel’s data centre is right next door. A local power station is at the end of the road.
Given Redbus’s simplistic and aggressive pricing, the facility appealed to the hosting market who became a large portion of the site’s customer base. At present occupancy will likely be fairly high.
