Netwise Bermondsey is a small (200 racks) central London data centre on the south side of the Thames. It’s about a mile south-east of London Bridge and The Shard, and makes Netwise one of the few small-scale service providers in central London with their own data centre.

Netwise went live here in early 2016, having fully sold their original Sutton data centre in south London. The focus is on full-rack colocation services down to individual server hosting (per U). As you would expect from a smaller provider, Netwise offer a great value proposition and superb level of customer service. This data centre is ideal for clients who want easy access and do not need the high costs or kudos of the larger global brands. Netwsise Bermondsey is lso great for customers wanting a more flexible approach. About 40% of customers here are international.

Netwise Bermondsey facility description

The Netwise data centre in Bermondsey is based in a light industrial unit across a ground and first floor. It is fitted out to offer colocation across two data halls  of 100 racks each and also provides desk-based disaster-recovery services. Further facilities such as a customer build room, storage areas and break-out rooms are also available.

Netwise’s network runs diversely to both Telehouse North and Telecity Harbour Exchange/Equinix LD8, with BT, Zayo and more recently Virgin (Liberty Global) now on site. Up to 32Amps per cabinet is possible, with dual A+B as standard. A full range of managed services is available, though the primary focus is on retail colocation and network services. 24/ 7 onsite support is available.
