Hemel Hempstead 2 (HH2) was NTT/Gyron’s second data centre in Hemel Hempstead which opened in 2012 and is located just one mile from the original smaller site HH1 or Centro as it was originally known as by Gyron. HH2 offers 6MW of IT load across 6 indivdiual data halls all built to a demanding and high quality standard.
By combining the high quality wholesale design with the enterprise and service approach of NTT, HH2 can either be used for retail colocation services (starting at one full rack upwards) or large scale dedicated data halls of 1MW+ on a wholesale basis. Colo-X has a strong track record with NTT who is an oft overlooked, high quality operator, offering great value for enterprise customers not needing specialist ecosystem access.

NTT’s HH2 facility is hugely impressive with 6MW of high quality data center space across 6 data halls. Each data hall has its own dedicated plant to a 2N configuration.
HH2 offers both high density per rack and ultra low PUEs. Excellent connectivity options providing access to multiple carriers, cloud providers as well NTT’s own internet bandwidth and network services. Great for enterprise colocation customers. Worth remembering Dimension Data (now integrated into NTT Ltd) also part of the NTT family for hardware provision and support.
