NTT Global Data Centers, Yew Tree Avenue, Dagenham, RM10 7FN
Colo-X analysis
Since acquiring UK based Gyron in 2012 NTT have embarked on a string of acquisitions across the globe in Germany, America and India to position themselves as one of the largest global operators and if there was a statement of intent about their ambitions, this new 64MW East London campus is it.
Following our site visit in September 2025, Colo-X can confirm that the site is now sold-out on a “wholesale” basis, with about 4 or 5 clients in Building 1 and a single user taking the whole of Building 2, with final fit-out of this now underway. Smaller sub 1MW clients still have options though, from a single rack upwards to larger, caged suites.
As mentioned in our other NTT listings, Colo-X has a strong track record with this operator and we find them an oft overlooked alternative compared to the other global operators available in the London market, but where NTT are especially strong in high quality, retail colocation solutions especially for the corporate and enterprise sector, at a surprisingly attractive price point. NTT Global Data Centers London 1 facility description
NTT’s London 1 data centre is built on a new enterprise zone based on the former 8 hectare Sanofi-Aventis site where the pharmaceutical industry has occupied the area since the 1930’s. The data centres are brand new, purpose built buildings and massive! The buildings are each designed to provide 32MW from 10 distinct data halls or a total of 140,000 sq ft (12,800 sq m) at a high average power density of 2.5kW per square metre.
The site is located 8 miles almost due east from the Telehouse East India Dock campus or 5 miles inside the M25 and 10 minutes walking distance from Dagenham East underground station. 80MVA of power is delivered to a pair of dedicated sub-stations at 132kV, making NTT LON1 one of a select band of UK data centres fed directly from the national grid at this level.
Inside the data halls is a concrete slab with contained hot-aisles in a brigh, well lit modern environment. With bus-bar power distribution, 3-phase power can easily be provided to any rack, so allowing power densities of up to 20kW per cabinet.
